Elizabeth Pandich’s life has been shaped by her passion for horses, her commitment to hard work, and her dedication to achieving meaningful goals. At the age of twelve, she discovered Wellington in The Chronicle of the Horse and dreamed of being part of the equestrian capital of the world. For her twelfth birthday, she asked for only one gift, a week showing in Wellington, and that experience sparked a lifelong connection to the community.

Growing up in a middle-class family in New York, Elizabeth balanced academics, sports, music, and multiple jobs, learning early the values of perseverance and responsibility. She went on to graduate from Cornell University with a degree in Communications while continuing to compete as a rider and develop young horses.

In 2012, Elizabeth founded Limelight Farm, a boutique hunter and jumper training and sales operation in New York and Wellington. Through coaching nationally and internationally, breeding select homebreds, and officiating competitions as an “r” judge, she has earned a reputation for integrity, excellence, and results.

Elizabeth’s connection to Wellington became personal when she met her husband, Peter, at one of the town’s beloved equestrian events. Together, they welcomed their daughter, Cora, and made Wellington their full-time home in 2022, embracing the town’s unique spirit and community values.

Now, Elizabeth is running for Wellington Council to serve the town she loves.
